posted on 09/11/2017

Attention Assistant Principals!

As one of the oldest professional organizations within the Department of Education community, the Association Assistant Principals will be celebrating its 75th educational conference on Saturday, Oct. 14. The event will be held at the LaGuardia Marriott Hotel. Nationally known children's author Patricia Polacco (author of Thank You Mr. Falker, Thunder Cake, Bully, and many more) will be the keynote speaker.

Following her remarks will be a book signing. Come early to the conference and the first 75 attendees will receive a free copy Ms. Polaccos's newest book REMEMBERING VERA.

AAP will also be honoring Sandy Di Trapani upon his retirement. A series of workshops designed to improve the professional practice of school supervisors will also be offered.

Great workshops, a nationally known author, a wonderful lunch and the opportunity to network with colleagues from all segments of the NYC Department of Education are the ingredients of a fabulous day. So come!
