CSA's new leadership team was sworn in August 31 during the union's Executive Board's first meeting of the 2017-2018 school year.
CSA Counsel Marvin Pope delivered the oath of office to President Mark Cannizzaro, Executive Vice President Henry Rubio, First Vice President Rosemarie Sinclair, Vice President Sam Akel, and Secretary Stefani Fanizzi in Founders' Hall.
Reading from the CSA oath of office, Pope told our President that "It will be your duty to guide the officers, executive directors, executive staff and personnel in developing and meeting CSA's aims and objectives."
Pope told the officers that "It will be your duty to preside at Executive Board meetings, to enforce the Constitution and bylaws of the CSA, and to fairly administer the collective bargaining agreement. It will be your sworn duties to intercede for our members in matters concerning their welfare."
Executive Board members gave the new leadership team a standing ovation as each completed their pledge.
