Why should I volunteer for Political Action?

The answer is simple: it’s for your own good and the good of those you care about. CSA supports candidates who will help to win important rights and benefits for New York City’s school leaders. Free professional development courses for school leaders were the result of CSA supported legislation. CSA also seeks the passage of laws that benefit its members and their families. When you volunteer your time to work for a CSA supported candidate or legislation, you are helping yourself, your family and your fellow school leaders. Every school leader should volunteer once or twice a year. It’s easy to do and it can be fun, too. You may be asked to distribute literature, gather signatures on petitions, work at a phone bank, hand-out leaflets or flyers or attend rallies in support of important issues.
