Truman Mustangs beat Fiorello LaGuardia High School 3-2 to win the PSAL Boys Soccer "B" Division Championship.
At the end, the Mustangs finished a perfect season posting a record of 20 wins and zero losses or ties. A banner and a trophy will forever remain at Harry S. Truman High School.
"The Truman boys soccer team started as a group of young, talented and dedicated student-athletes. As the season progressed, these young men realized that hard work in the classroom and on the soccer field pays dividends. They all put a lot of effort into their school work and always carried themselves with great respect and honor. At the end, I could not be more proud to call them champions," said Coach Ricardo Furriel.
