Williamsbridge NAACP Early Childhood Center Gets A New Look

City Councilman Andy King (in red) joined Publicolor volunteers and Williamsbridge NAACP Early Childhood students, families and staff to paint the Bronx facility.

Williamsbridge Education Center Executive Director Cheryl Dewitt said the "exciting partnership" working on the project "is another reason I love what I do."

Jamal Baily, Community Liaison for New York State House Speaker Carl Heastie was also on hand for the festivities. Industrial Designer Ruth Lande Shuman created Publicolor in 1996 to help students learn through a more imaginative use of color in school buildings.
