The "Boogie-Down Bronx" lived up to its' name Dec. 7 when CSA held its' President's Club Pre-Holiday Reception at the Bronx Museum of the Arts.
More than 200 people joined CSA President Ernest Logan, Executive Vice President Mark Cannizzaro and Director of Community Affairs and Event Host Herman Merritt for an evening of food, drink and socializing in the Museum's first floor hall.
Special guests included Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina, Deputy Bronx Borough President Aurelia Green, New York State Assemblymen Michael Blake (79th Dist.) and Victor Pichardo (86th Dist.), and City Council Members Vanessa Gibson (16th Dist.), Ydanis Rodriquez (10th Dist.), and Andy King (12th Dist.)
The already festive evening quickly turned into a full blown dance party as DJ Danny's music selection proved irresistible and members quickly packed the impromptu dance floor.
"This really is the Boogie down Bronx," Merritt told the crowd. He pledged that CSA would host future receptions in the borough.
