One of the highest honors in American education was awarded to CSA President Ernest Logan on May 11. The New York Academy of Public Education awarded Mr. Logan its Medal of Honor, bestowed to individuals who have "demonstrated beneficial impact and commitment to improving our public education system."
The Academy has been granting the medal to a recipient each year since 1935. This year, the Academy noted Mr. Logan's "strong and steady leadership" during his tenure as president of CSA, especially during contract negotiations with the city of New York.
Congratulations, President Logan!
