NEW INTERSESSION PROGRAMS!
Starting this winter, the Educational Cultural program will begin its intersession program, offering two events, one in January and one in February.
1) On Jan. 23, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, we’ll offer a financial seminar, led by financial planner Jenifer Lee, on Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) at union headquarters, 16 Court St., Brooklyn. The seminar presenter will be Jenifer Lee who is a Financial Planner and Tax Preparer out of the Wall Street area in Manhattan. Ms. Lee has presented to the Retiree Chapter on RMD’s twice before. As for all our recent financial lectures, she comes to us through the Pro Bono office of The Financial Planning Association of New York City. Limit: 40 people.
2) On Feb. 7, we’ll be taking a docent-led tour of Channel 13’s Manhattan offices and studios. The tour begins at 11 a.m. and will last approximately one hour, depending on the availability of defferent locations in building and participant questions. LImit: 14 people.
Both events have a $5 fee. Registration is online only. Click HERE to go to the registration link.
