45th Annual Educational Leadership Conference

CSA held its 45th Annual Educational Leadership Conference themed Keeping the Promise in Challenging Times.  More than 1,400 educators, parents and community members attended the event. A variety of workshops were offered throughout the day. Dr. David Milton Steiner, NY State Education Commissioner, was this year's keynote speaker at the plenary session.

CSA honored Jack Zuckerman, CSA Historian and former CSA President, with the Peter S. O'Brien Award. NYS Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli received the Leadership in Government award. PENCIL Inc. was awarded the Leadership in Education award; Michael Haberman, PENCIL Inc. President, acceped the award.
